The Lamprey board is a development tool used by Microsoft to provide testing features for internal development boards including NAND flashing, kernel debugging and stress testing. The Lamprey board can also connect to the Xbox 360's Argon Ring of Light board for either testing/flashing purposes.

Hardware
The IC present on the Lamprey board is a MAX3232 RS-232 transceiver.
